Idiogram Privacy Policy

Hiiii. We are Humanist LLC (known by humans as Humanist). Here's how we protect your data and respect your privacy.

Our role in your privacy

If you are an Idiogram user, or just visiting our website, this policy applies to you.

Our responsibilities

If you are a user of Idiogram we act as the ā€˜data controllerā€™ of personal data about you and your use of Idiogram. Also, we act as the ā€˜data processorā€™ of personal data in the information you put into Idiogram (that includes anything that you create or import into the app).

Your responsibilities

Read this Privacy Policy and come back for updates.

If you provide us with personal information about other people, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us. By submitting the information, you confirm that you have the right to authorise us to process it on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When and how we collect personal information

If you are only a visitor to our website, please know that we do not collect any personal data before you start using our app.

From the moment you start using our Service, we start collecting data. Sometimes you provide us with data, sometimes data about you is collected automatically.

Hereā€™s when and how we do this:

Types of personal information we collect

Contact details

We collect this information when you reach out to us for user support, feedback, or fun. We collect your name, email address, social media username, etc, and any information you provide to us in the process, so we can get back to you.

The textual part of your user content

When you type, dictate, paste, or import something into Idiogram, we have to process on our servers any texts contained in your input, so we can provide those super smart features. This processing is transientā€”we do not store your content except in runtime memoryā€”they are deleted as soon as we finish processing and send it back to your device. Your content is not logged, unless we ask for your explicit permission to do so.

A device identifier

We rely on Apple DeviceCheck to prevent abuse and fraudulent uses of our app. When you interact with the app, an anonymous device identifier will be sent to our server, so we can make sure it comes from a genuine copy of our app running on a real device. This identifier cannot be used to identify you across different apps. Once the check is passed, we do not store or associate any user content with this identifier.

What about my really sensitive information?

We donā€™t collect any "sensitive data" about you (like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data about your sexual life or orientation, and offences or alleged offences).

What about children's data?

Idiogram is directed to and intended for use only by those who are 18 years of age or over. We do not target Idiogram at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from any person under 18 years of age.
